Agronomic character evaluation of F3 Yardlong bean progenies

Yardlong bean pod used as vegetable in many countries. has agronomic character variability such length, immature and seed colour. The colour are green, whitish green red. Fagiola variety red pod, while "Aura Hijau" pod. aim of research was to evaluate characters F3 progenies. Artificial crossing made between "Fagiola" female parent male produce F1. F1 were self-pollinated F2. Then F2 obtain Progenies two parental varieties planted the field. Parameter measured number leaves, branches, pods, length seeds. data analysed using Dunnet test. Heritability calculated correlation analysis done determine relationship characters. results showed that per progenies significantly higher than varieties. Moderate heritability observed for seed. While leaves had high heritability. There low among all
